The Precast Flooring Federation is a prominent member association of the British Precast Concrete Federation. Our principal objectives are to promote the structural and commercial benefits of precast concrete flooring systems and their proven performance.

PFF members’ products are manufactured under factory controlled conditions to a high standard, giving architects, structural engineers and building contractors the assurance of an engineered floor to meet specific design criteria.

If you are interested in joining the PFF as a full or associate member then contact us today.

Latest News 29th November 2017:

The Precast Flooring Federation is pleased to launch its fourth edition of the Code of Practice for the Safe Installation of Precast Concrete Flooring and Associated Components.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reviewed and commented on drafts during the development of the fourth edition and has provided a foreword for the Code of Practice by Peter Baker, Chief Inspector of Construction. He writes “The HSE continues to work closely with the Precast Flooring Federation and endorses this guidance which follows a sensible and proportionate approach to managing health and safety.”

The fourth edition is published as a download (click the link on the left), with a limited print run for PFF members, training organisations and the HSE. A pocket-sized abridged version, with an extensive print run, has been produced for the first time to accompany the new fourth edition. The pocket-sized version summarises the key elements of the Code of Practice and is intended for site operatives and supervisors to use as an aide-memoire when installing precast concrete floors.
