The announcement of winners will be made at the MPA Health and Safety Awards event. This is the premier event for health and safety within the mineral products industry that showcases the steps the industry is taking to move closer to the achievement of ‘Vision Zero’. It will be held on the 9th November 2022 at Euston Square, London.

Nigel Jackson, MPA Chief Executive said “I urge companies of all sizes to consider whether they have health and safety ideas and successes they would like to share, for the benefit of the industry, to reward their employees for their contribution, and to see their organisation recognised for its achievements. Over the last two years, we have updated the Health and Safety Award Scheme to make it easier for companies to submit their entries and encourage even greater participation. We are particularly keen to recognise individuals and especially young leaders.

The sharing of knowledge about the good practices and innovations will help us all to make our industry a safer and healthier place for everyone. It is also important to recognise the outstanding performance that individuals and organisations have made on our journey towards ‘Vision Zero’.”
